Our love for the Islands makes our destination wedding no surprise to anyone. Of course, our ceremony will be overlooking the blue Caribbean Sea just before sunset. We are hoping you will join us.  We are staying at the Jewel Resort in Runaway Bay - Jamaica from 1/2/2015 through 1/5/2015. The resort is an all-inclusive family resort with so much to experience and do. There are 5 restaurants, 3 pools, endless water sports, bars, and entertainment, all included in the price. And don't forget about the spectacular beaches. Jamaica is known for it's white sand and warm tranquil, crystal clear blue water.

WAS IT LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT OR DIVINE INTERVENTION?

ACCORDING TO PHIL: I believe that everything happens for a reason...One day, early 2012, my friend Mike and I were looking for Jamaican food and he told me about Jerk Pit but didn't know where they moved to. We just had to find their new location that day. We walked in...when I saw those eyes behind the counter...I felt like Lisa was looking into my soul. I knew then I wanted to be with her and wasn't going to stop pursuing until we were together. Mike told me she was married and I would be up against all these Jamaican men. I decided to watch and wait. I visited Jerk Pit regularly so I could look into her eyes and get to know her. About six months later, I overheard Lisa talking to Jordan about going to his father's house later that night, I decided to ask her where her husband was. She told me she was divorced...that's all I needed to hear...I asked if she wanted to go out sometime.  Our first date was August 12th, 2012, we went to Baltimore to see Image Band perform at Bay Cafe, we had a great time. Ever since then, the only thing I have wanted is to make Lisa happy and that makes me happy. If it means cooking her breakfast in bed, going to the movies, texting her love songs and poems...whatever it takes to make her smile. I told her I could see us getting married within a year because we are so much alike. Sometimes we feel like we know it all, but I have learned a lot since we have been together. We don't get tired of spending time together, My friends tease about me never missing an auction until I met Lisa. I want to give her everything she wants in a relationship and be the man she never had. I know the reason we had to find The Jerk Pit that day...it was for me to find my Queen..

ACCORDING TO LISA: It was early 2012, There he was, 6 ft 3 inches,Tall, Dark
& Handsome...Phil walked into The Jerk Pit with his friend Mike and I was behind the counter. He purposely gave me a hard time. For six months Phil became a regular customer, drove over an hour from Stafford Virginia, to come and get fish, play dominoes and hang out. Sometimes he would be there for hours and I was impressed that he drove so far several times a week. I looked forward to his visits and we chatted whenever he came in but I tried to keep my distance. I invited him to a Reggae Tuesday, where I hung out every Tuesday Night.... but he was a no show so I figured he was playing around. A couple weeks later, I was talking to Jordan about going to his father's house, Phil overheard and asked me where was my husband; to which I replied that I was divorced for almost 4 years. He asked if I was single, I told him I was dating.... he asked if I wanted to go out sometime. Our first date was August 12, 2012; we went to see my friends, Image Band play at Bay Cafe in Baltimore. We had so much fun. We laughed, talked and danced, not realizing how many hours had passed. He was such a gentleman, a true romantic and very attentive; he seemed to be everything I was looking for. He opened doors, sang to me, made breakfast in bed, roses and cards just because...and sent regular text messages with love songs and poems. I told him it felt too good to be true. Phil told me he only wants to make me happy; to give me everything I never had in a relationship and to be everything I ever wanted. He said he could see us getting married within a year and I felt the same. Here we are two years later, ready to take that step to our Happily Ever After. We have been inseparable ever since our first date and neither of us gets tired of spending time together. My prayers were answered, I found my Prince Charming.
